Gently roll the primer over the surface and apply only a thin coat before letting it dry and applying a second coat after. Once dry, You can then begin painting the floor with epoxy paint by using the same method – apply only a thin layer of paint, allow it to dry, then apply subsequent coats as needed.
After the paint is thick enough to cover the existing tile and grout and has completely dried, you will then need to seal the area to protect the paint. To do this, you will add two coats of polyurethane sealer to the area.
