Samsung Phone Keeps Vibrating

All Samsung phones operate under the Android Operating System and are known for their high quality and reliable Smart Phones. This is why it is so upsetting when, instead of functioning efficiently, you find that your Samsung phone is simply vibrating without ending and not working properly.

A Samsung phone may keep vibrating due to a stuck power button. If the button is constantly pressed down or has debris around it, it can cause the phone to vibrate intermittently. To fix this, clean around the button with a soft cloth and make sure it’s not stuck by pressing it gently a few times.

Another reason for continuous vibration could be a software glitch. Sometimes the operating system or an app may malfunction, causing the phone to vibrate without any apparent notifications. Restarting the phone can often resolve this issue. Press and hold the power button, select ‘Restart’, and allow the phone to reboot.

A Samsung phone may vibrate when charging due to notifications or system alerts that occur when the battery reaches a certain level. To stop this, go to ‘Settings’, then ‘Notifications’, and adjust the settings for charging alerts, or switch to ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode while charging.

Another reason for a Samsung phone vibrating while charging could be the activation of the ‘Smart Alert’ feature, which vibrates the phone when picked up if there are missed notifications. To disable this, go to ‘Settings’, tap ‘Advanced features’, and turn off ‘Smart Alert’.

Then go to Manage All and then check the Notification settings for all the apps that are installed on your Samsung phone. You may also need to update to the latest Android version to solve this issue. You can go to Settings and then to Software Update and then to Download and Install to make sure your Samsung phone has all of the latest software that is available.

If this has not solved the vibrating and crashing issue, your problem may be due to a problem with Android System WebView. Samsung found that many apps such as banking apps or social media apps were crashing because of problems with Android System WebView.

Go to Settings and then to Apps and then to Android System WebView and then to App Details in Store and then tap on Update.
