If you are connecting a Samsung SSD to a PC, there is something called a Boot Order, which is the process your device takes to search for nonvolatile data so that program codes can be recognized. If you have a Samsung SSD and it will not boot, what can you do to get your device to load it?

If your Samsung SSD won’t boot, it could be that the Boot Order needs to be changed. To do this, within BIOS find ‘Boot Order Options’ > make the appropriate changes to the boot order to allow the SSD > select ‘Save’ > confirm the changes that have been made, then restart the device.

If your Samsung SSD won’t mount, mount the SSD through Disk Utility. To do this, go to ‘Applications’ > ‘Utilities’ > ‘Disk Utility’ and from here, you will be able to see the SSD listed under disks that are not connected. Simply right-click the SSD and select ‘Mount’ to mount the disk.
