As a general rule, restart your Firestick device by unplugging it from the power source, then plug it back in. Following that if it’s still not working clear the app cache, check the internet connection is working, update the software to the latest version, and uninstall and reinstall the ESPN app.
You can watch ESPN on your Vizio Smart TV, but it is a little more work than simply downloading an app. The ESPN App is not available yet through SmartCast. This means that to stream ESPN on your Vizio Smart TV, you need to use outside devices. You can use AirPlay or Google Cast if you do not want to deal with HDMI attachments. Otherwise, many devices are compatible with your Vizio Smart TV and can support the ESPN and ESPN Plus App.
While your LG TV does not have an option to play ESPN Plus on its regular streaming, you can watch ESPN Plus via other routes. You can go to the context menu and download the ESPN Plus App. Or you can use an external device or airdrop that will allow you to watch ESPN plus on your LG Smart TV. In the future, LG may make it so that the ESPN Plus service can simply be played from your LG Smart TV.
If your ESPN Plus keeps buffering, you can delete and then reinstall the app on your android or iOS phone. Downloading the latest version of the app on your smartphone can usually resolve any connection problems. Your internet connection may also be slow, so try switching to a Wi-Fi connection.
There will be issues with sound from the ESPN app if the volume on the streaming device is too low or is muted. Make sure the device is not set to silent or on airplane mode. An iPhone or iPad will have an orange light by the volume button if silenced.
If ESPN is not streaming on your Samsung TV, it could be that the app needs to be updated. To do this, press the ‘Home’ button on your remote control and select ‘Featured’ > ‘ESPN’ > press and hold the ‘Enter’ button and select ‘Update Apps’ > ‘All’ > ‘Update,’ then retry the app once more.
