Once you have gone through the setup process for your Bose microphone on your Windows system, but notice that your product does not appear as an option within the ‘Recording Devices Menu,’ you have encountered a problem with pairing, as the mic should not be paired as a multimedia device.
When your Sonos devices aren’t working with Pandora, reset the unit before moving on to other troubleshooting methods. Ensure that your home network is strong and Pandora is up-to-date, as Pandora and Sonos both require a powerful connection. Then, configure your Sonos devices and Pandora profile.
Bose volume control may not work if your software is out of date, the settings on your Bluetooth device are limiting the sound, the Bose sound is muted or turned down, or the volume buttons are malfunctioning. You can either rectify these issues, or try to reset your speaker to fix the issue.
Bose Bluetooth will not pair if the Bluetooth function on either device is disabled or is not discoverable. The devices could also be too far apart, there may be interference from other Bluetooth devices, too many devices paired at once or incorrect Bluetooth settings on your Bluetooth device.

Bose headphones and speakers will beep continuously if there is an issue with the power or Bluetooth connections. Clearing the Bluetooth pairing list or checking the power cable for misconnection and faults will fix these issues. All other issues are generally solved by resetting the device.
Bose devices will not update if you have less than 20% battery remaining on the device, there is a disrupted connection between the updater device and the Bose device or there is a bug in the firmware. Your Bose device can be updated with a cable and computer, or wirelessly through the app.
If your Sonos group isn’t working or keeps ungrouping, there’s heavy Wi-Fi interference between your devices. Change the router’s wireless channel to encourage a stronger connection. If this fails, send a diagnostics test to Sonos and get in touch with them.
If your Sonos volume is very low or is not loud enough, check to make sure that your volume limit is not set at a low level. To do this, open the Sonos app on your smart device and select ‘More’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Select Room Settings’ > select the room your speaker is in > ‘Volume Limit’ > then this should read as ‘Off.’ If it does not read as off, select it and move the slider to the right 100%.
If your Sonos won’t connect to your Samsung TV, it may be that your TV is in need of a software update. To complete a software update on a Samsung TV, from your remote press ‘Home’ > navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Support’ > ‘Software Update’ > ‘Update Now’ > then any new updates will be downloaded and installed. This will help to update your TV with a software that will accept your Sonos without issue.
