A bad pump and motor assembly can cause a dishwasher to make a loud sound. It usually starts as more of a squealing or buzzing sound and can progress from there. If the dishwasher isn’t cleaning, inspect the wash pump. If water is left behind, check the drain pump.
A dishwasher rack falls off when the clips holding the rack in place are broken or missing. They form a stop that keeps the rack from moving too far forward. Look at the end of the track for a cap. If it isn’t there or if it is broken, it should be replaced.
To help fix or avoid problems with a Samsung dishwasher that fills but doesn’t wash. Check the power and water supplies, including the filters. See if the spray arm is rotating freely and isn’t blocked. The detergent dispenser should operate properly and the water temperature must be correct.

To reset a Samsung dishwasher, the most convenient method is to press and hold the ‘Start/Reset’ button for three seconds which is located on the control panel. If this method doesn’t work, try manually resetting the appliance by cutting power to the dishwasher for one to five minutes.
If your Samsung dishwasher is not drying, be sure that you do not overload items within the unit, check to make sure that you have the “Dry” option turned on with the dishwasher, and look for any signs of corrosion or damage to your heating element if you suspect it is not working.

If your Samsung dishwasher is not working or cleaning as it should, try cleaning the top and bottom rack spray arms of any debris, pay close attention to any blinking lights to determine the issue being relayed, clean or replace the spray arm, and be sure that the spray arm is not blocked.
