How to Reset LG Washer fe/ie/le/cl/ue/oe Error Codes

If you get an LE error code on your LG Washer display screen, it is usually an indication that the washer’s motor has become locked up. This is usually due to a heavy or over-loaded washer load. These types of over-sized loads tend to strain the LG Washer motor, resulting in an LE Error Code.

If you need to reset your LG Washer and reset due to fe/ie/le/cl/ue/oe error codes, the cause of this is usually from a faulty water valve that is not working properly. To resolve this problem, make sure to drain any water that is trapped in the washer. Now, turn the washer back on.

If you get a FE code on an LG Washer Display, it is from the washer being overfilled. You can also get a FE error code if there is excessive foam forming during the washing process. Go ahead and tilt the washer to an inclined position and stabilize it with a block or similar item. Then, open the drain filter door. Have a basin handy to drain the water. Open the cork of the emergency water drain hose.

As you are draining the water, the hatch of the washing machine will be blocking access to the wet clothes. Just open the door and take the wet clothing out of the washing machine and place it in a clean basin or basket.

Take a screwdriver and then unscrew the drain filter so that you can clean it and then carefully replace it.

Take out the powder collector and rinse out any collected material that is in it. Then replace it as it was before.

Now, turn the washing machine on again after loading it as usual and putting in your usual amount of detergent. Close the washer door and then run your LG washer to see if you are still getting the FE Error Code.

If this is still happening, you will need to contact a factory trained LG Washer technician.

If you are getting an OE Error Code, it means there is a problem with the washer’s drain system. This is usually from the washer not being level or from a clog or other deformity in the drain hose.

Make sure that the drain hose is not more than three feet above the base of the washer. Also, be sure to check for any clogs or blockages in the drain line.

If you get a UE Error Code on your LG Washer Display, it means that the washer load is not balanced. Just press on the Start/Pause button, unlock the door, and re-balance the washer load. Then press on the Start/Pause Button another time, which should restart the Spin Cycle.
