Wrinkle prevention is enabled, you are turning on delayed start by accident, the on/off switch is faulty, the control panel has failed, the internal computer is faulty or has a glitch, or the motor has loose wiring or needs to be repaired or replaced.
The typical reason why a dryer is beeping or buzzing is that you haven’t pressed the start button. Modern dryers require that you press the start button once the door is closed because they will not start automatically. They will recognize that the load is full and the beeping is there to remind you to do so.
As mentioned earlier, there are many reasons why an electric Electrolux dryer may not work, including broken door switch, faulty thermal fuse, blown motor, damaged start switch, broken drive belt, defective belt switch, faulty power source, broken power cord, and problems in the main control board.
To do Electrolux dryer factory reset/hard reset, simultaneously press and hold both the ‘Temperature’ button and the ‘Dryness’ button. Press both buttons at the same time and hold them for 6 seconds. Your dryer may beep or the display panel will light up to signal it has been reset.
