Frigidaire Freezer High Temp Light Flashing

If your Frigidaire Freezer High Temp Light is flashing, it could indicate a very serious problem such as a compressor or evaporator fan problem. Careful troubleshooting can allow you to find the cause of this high temperature alert so that you can quickly and easily fix the problem.

If you want to know how to fix your Frigidaire Freezer High Temp Light flashing, first, go ahead and pull the unit away from the wall. Then, feel the coils on the back of the freezer. The coils should be warmer on the top and get cooler as you go to the bottom of them.

Now, feel on the top of the compressor and feel if it is vibrating normally.

The compressor should normally feel anywhere from warm to very warm. If the compressor feels very warm, there is probably a problem with the entire cooling system. Also, be sure to check the frost pattern on the evaporator coils. There should only be a very light coat of frost on all of the coils from the top to the bottom of the coils without any ice or snow on any of the coils.

Frigidaire Freezer Interior Light Flashing

Hold the Reset Button down for about 3 seconds and then press the Down Arrow button 3 times and press the Up Button one time. Now, see if the freezer interior lights stop flashing.

If you see an orange light blinking in your Frigidaire Freezer, it indicates that the temperature in the freezer is either too high or too low.

If you want to know how to fix your Frigidaire Freezer Orange Light Blinking, first, unplug the freezer from the power source. Then, replace the Run Capacitor by reaching into the lower back part of the freezer. Release the wire retainer. Now, detach the old Run Capacitor from the Start Device.

Install the new Run Capacitor and then secure the wire retainer. Plug the power cord back in. Check to see that the freezer is now functioning properly.
