1. Connect in Safe Mode – Just like your Windows computer, there is a safe mode with your Alcatel tablet and this can really help you to connect when you are having problems. Essentially, the safe mode starts the tablet with a minimal amount of drivers and apps running in the background. How do you do it?
First of all, press the power button and hold it for up to three seconds. Eventually, you will see a power-off message appear on the screen.
Press the power off message on the screen but continue to hold it for a few seconds. Eventually, another message will appear on the screen that allows you to reboot the tablet into safe mode.
Once the message comes up to reboot the tablet into safe mode, press the OK to confirm. This will start the process of rebooting the tablet and when it comes on again, it will now be in safe mode.

Sometimes, the easiest way to fix a problem with a tablet not connecting to the Wi-Fi is to turn the tablet off and back on again. It may sound simplistic, but it works in almost every case because it refreshes the settings and allows things to go smoothly again.

Finally, interference can cause difficulty with connecting to the Wi-Fi. We tend to think of interference as being something electronic but actually, anything can provide interference.
If you move into another room, you have a wall between yourself and the Wi-Fi signal. If there is something else between you and the signal, from a refrigerator to a hot water heater, it can also provide interference that keeps the signal from getting to you.
