It would also be smart to either use some water to keep the blade cool or to wear a mask so that you aren’t breathing in ceramic tile dust.
Wet Saw – One other option is to use a wet saw, but this is not going to work in every case. A wet saw can only typically be used when you are cutting a square hole in a ceramic tile that intersects with one of the edges.
