Your anti-flood device is an essential part of your dishwasher. This device is located at the bottom of your dishwasher and is composed of a few different sensors. These sensors are so important because they do exactly as the name indicates, they prevent you from returning to your kitchen to excess water running everywhere. These sensors are also indicators to let you know that there is a clog or other debris that you need to cleanout. If you ignore this warning, you risk damaging your Beko dishwasher.

To reset your Beko dishwasher anti-flood device you’ll need a couple of tools. Your anti-flood sensors are located beneath the panel on the inside floor of your Beko dishwasher. To access this area you need to first disconnect your Beko dishwasher from power. Then remove the screws that hold the panel in place

Once the panel is off before you can reset the anti-flood device you need to clean the sensors. Any debris that has managed to get into the system will prevent the anti-flood system from resetting. Using something with a good deal of water pressure, clean the sensors. You should also drain any excess water that is in the compartment. The easiest way to do this is by using a sponge and a bucket.

Once you have cleaned and drained everything, replace the screws on the panel. Then close your dishwasher. You may also want to check the anti-flood collection area. To do this you need to pull out your Beko dishwasher and remove the screws on the side panel.

When your anti-flood system engages, excess water is sent to an area beneath your dishwasher. After you take off the panel you will notice if there is a flooding issue by checking the area underneath for excess water. This should also be removed using the same sponge process.

After doing this, reattach your panel and reconnect your Beko dishwasher to power. Once it is on, run a regular reset. Press and hold the start/stop button for three seconds. Release the button and repeat the process, this time holding the button for ten seconds.
