Paramount Plus Not Working On Samsung TV

Samsung is a well-known manufacturer of high quality and reliable smart TVs. Paramount Plus is a video streaming service that includes online on demand access to more than twelve thousand popular TV shows. Paramount Plus is available for streaming on Samsung Smart TVs. If your Samsung TV Paramount Plus is not working, follow the troubleshooting steps as outlined below to quickly diagnose and resolve the issues that are causing this problem so that you and your family can resume viewing your favorite programs as usual.

If your Samsung TV Paramount Plus is not working, on your Samsung Smart TV go to TV Settings and then to General. Now, go to Network and then go to Network Status. Then, go to IP Settings and then to DNS Setting. Switch from Auto to Manual. Enter Primary DNS

Oftentimes, if this problem persists, you can try to upgrade your Samsung Smart Hub or upgrade your Paramount Plus App.

Normally, to install Paramount Plus, first, go to Settings and Sign In. Then, go to paramountplus.com. At this point, you will be given a website to go to along with an individual code.

Go to paramountplus.com/samsungtv on either your computer or on one of your mobile devices and go ahead and enter your activation code.

Now, select Activate.

After this, your screen should refresh, and you will be able to begin streaming programming from Paramount Plus on your Samsung Smart TV.

Samsung TV Paramount Plus Not Installing

If your Samsung TV Paramount Plus is not installing, it is usually from either a technical glitch of some kind or a problem with a cache that has somehow become corrupted. To solve this problem, you will usually need to perform either a Cold Boot or a Hard Reset or Both.

If your Samsung TV Paramount Plus is not working and is not installed, Cold Boot your Samsung TV by holding down the power button on your Samsung TV Remote for five to ten seconds. Now, your Samsung TV will restart, and you can then go ahead and launch Paramount Plus to watch TV again.

If the problems with installing Paramount Plus persist, perform a Hard Reset of your Samsung Smart TV.

Unplug both your Samsung Smart TV and your Router from their power sources. Wait for a period of about five to ten minutes.

Be sure that the Router is fully turned on. Now, turn on your Samsung Smart TV. Log on to the internet using your WiFi connection.

Attempt to launch the Paramount Plus App to see if it is now working normally or if there are any other issues with it.

In addition, you should make sure that your internet connection is working properly as well. You can test it with another app such as YouTube.

Be sure also to conduct an internet speed test because Paramount Plus does require a minimum internet speed of 5Mbps to provide streaming content.

In addition, you can try power cycling your Samsung Smart TV. Unplug your Samsung TV and your Router.

Then, reconnect both and allow them to both reboot.   

Samsung TV Paramount Plus Not Playing/Not Loading

Following the steps as outlined below can accomplish the goal of allowing Paramount Plus to be able to load and play on your Samsung Smart TV.

If your Samsung TV Paramount Plus is not working and your Samsung TV Paramount Plus is not playing and not loading, first, go to the Paramount Plus Home Page. Click on Settings. Then, choose Deregister Your Device. Click on Deregister your Samsung Smart TV and click on OK.

Then, go ahead and enter your login credentials into the Paramount Plus App.

Once you have reregistered, check to see if you are able to access the Paramount Plus App on your Samsung Smart TV.

You can also try to update your Paramount Plus App.

To do this, go to your Samsung TV Home Screen. Select Apps.

Then, go to the Settings icon. Now, click on Updates. Then, look for the Paramount Plus App and then click on Update It.

If you still cannot install Paramount Plus, you need to try to reboot the Paramount Plus App.

If you cannot update your Paramount Plus App, there simply may not be enough memory available on your Samsung Smart TV.

Also, if your Samsung Smart TV is out of date, you may have to update it fully.

First, press the Home Button on your Samsung Smart TV Remote. Then, go to Settings by pressing the Left Arrow. Scroll down and then select Support.

Select the Software Update Option and then press OK. Then, press on Update Now. Now, check and see if your Paramount Plus App is functioning fully.

Resetting your Samsung network can be a last-ditch effort to have your Paramount Plus App work again on your Samsung Smart TV.

Use your Samsung Smart TV Remote and press the Home Button. Then, click on Settings and then go to General and click on Select Network and click on OK.

Then, select your Network Name and go ahead and enter your password.

Once you have determined that your Samsung Smart TV is fully connected to your network, now check, and see if you can

 Now watch programming on Paramount Plus.

As a final step, you can try to hard reset your Samsung TV. You can do this by first pressing on your Samsung Smart TV’s Menu Button.

Press Enter and open the Support Option.

Go to Self-Diagnosis and click on it. Press Enter. Press on Reset and then press on Enter.

Use the Security PIN 0000 or you can try using the Default PIN 0000. Now, click on YES.

Samsung TV Paramount Plus Error Something Went Wrong

Error codes indicate a problem involving some aspect of the procedure involved with streaming content on your Paramount Plus App. Listed below are some common error codes, what they represent and what you can do to resolve them.

If your Samsung TV Paramount Plus is not working and your Samsung TV Paramount Plus Error shows that something went wrong, check for what the error codes mean and then take the suggested remedial steps to resolve the problem.

For example, error codes 4201 and 1200 indicate that you have ad blockers enabled and this is what is blocking the streaming of any content on Paramount Plus. You will need to disable any ad blockers as well as eliminate any fire wall restrictions.

Also, check to see if any anti-virus software could be used that could block the streaming of content.

If you see error codes 1106, 6999, 3002 or 6290, you can try to close the Paramount Plus App, refresh the page and try to load the Paramount Plus App again.

Samsung TV Paramount Plus Won’t Download App

If you are having problems with downloading the Paramount Plus App to your Samsung Smart TV, it could be due to one of several problems. It could be due to not giving the app the permissions that are required, such as permissions for access to locations, access to storage, network access permissions and permissions for installation.

If your Samsung TV Paramount Plus is not working and your Samsung TV Paramount Plus won’t download, make sure that your Samsung TV model is compatible with Paramount Plus. Also, make sure that the version of Paramount Plus you are downloading is the latest version.

In addition, check that the amount of available space on your Samsung Smart TV is sufficient to accommodate downloading the Paramount Plus App.  

You can also clear the Google Play Store Cache along with all other relevant extraneous data involved.

 Also, evaluate your internet connection to ensure that you have a connection that is stable and is not fluctuating in terms of connectivity.

Now, restart your Samsung Smart TV and try to download the Paramount Plus App again.
