Sonos Volume Won’t Work/Keeps Going Up or Down/Won’t Turn Up

If your Sonos volume is very low or is not loud enough, check to make sure that your volume limit is not set at a low level. To do this, open the Sonos app on your smart device and select ‘More’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Select Room Settings’ > select the room your speaker is in > ‘Volume Limit’ > then this should read as ‘Off.’ If it does not read as off, select it and move the slider to the right 100%.

If your Sonos won’t connect to your Samsung TV, it may be that your TV is in need of a software update. To complete a software update on a Samsung TV, from your remote press ‘Home’ > navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Support’ > ‘Software Update’ > ‘Update Now’ > then any new updates will be downloaded and installed. This will help to update your TV with a software that will accept your Sonos without issue.

Sonos Keeps Disconnecting or Won’t Connect to WiFi Network

If your Sonos WiFi is not loading, you should first look to the WiFi rather than your Sonos device. Be sure that the connection is strong (see: “Sonos Keeps Disconnecting”) and if it is not, give a call to your WiFi provider to manage the strength. Also, reset your router to try to bypass any small issues that may have only temporarily occurred by unplugging it from the power source for one minute.

Sonos Won’t Work/Turn On or Off/Keeps Turning On/Off

If your Sonos speaker won’t turn off and it uses a power cord, the quickest and most effective solution is to unplug the speaker and leave it unplugged for at least two minutes before plugging it back in. If your Sonos keeps playing the same song, first make sure that the repeat feature on your iSO device is not turned on. To do this, open the music app on your device and tap on the song that is currently playing > tap the ‘Up Next’ icon at the bottom of the screen > tap the ‘Repeat’ icon (two arrows curved toward each other in an oval shape) until it is no longer highlighted.
