If your TCL TV is slow to connect to WiFi, try restarting the TV and resetting your WiFi. TO do this, turn the TV off and back on, then unplug your router from its power source for 60 seconds. When the time has passed, plug the router back in, allow it to reboot, then try to reconnect.

If your TCL Roku TV is not casting or streaming, it could be caused by one device being on a different network. Check to see the network that your TV is on by going to ‘Settings’ > ‘Network,’ then verify that the device you are trying to cast or stream from is connected to the same network.
If your TCL TV is showing YouTube with a black screen, no picture, or a green screen, a simple fix of resetting your TV could be the solution. To reset your TCL TV, unplug your TV directly from its power source and wait for a full 60 seconds before plugging it back in and trying YouTube once more.
Netflix may not be working on your TCL TV due to poor WiFi connection, firmware bugs, an overloaded cache or because the Netflix servers are down. Common fixes include resetting the TV, reinstalling the Netflix app, updating your firmware or resetting the modem/router.
If your TCL TV’s picture isn’t working or keeps changing brightness or colors, resulting in a dim or dark screen, you can try to unplug your TV or switch power outlets. You can also do a hard reset. Other possible fixes include tweaking the picture or brightness settings or updating your firmware.
If your TCL TV’s remote isn’t working, you can still turn the TV on manually. Or, you can control your television with a mobile app. If certain functions are exclusive to your remote, troubleshooting the device is simple. Restart the TV, repair the remote, and everything should return to normal.
To turn the volume up on your TCL TV without a remote and there are buttons on the bottom or back of the TV, simply press the (+) button on the remote to turn the volume up. If there are no buttons on your TV, you can install the Roku app on your smartphone by which you will be able to control the volume of your TV from. If you do not have a smartphone, a new remote will need to be purchased to turn up the volume.
If your TCL TV Hulu app is not working, the same solutions apply for many of the other applications that may experience the same problem. To fix a Hulu app that is not working on your TCL TV, you may need to delete and reinstall the app while also resetting your Roku. To forget the WiFi network on your TCL TV, first press the ‘Home’ button on your remote control. You will then select ‘Settings’ > ‘Network’ > find and select your WiFi network with the remote > scroll down and select ‘Forget Network’ > then select ‘OK’ with the remote. Once this is done, the network should be forgotten.
If your TCL TV light is blinking and it won’t turn off, use your remote to disable the light. To do this, press ‘Home’ on your remote control, ‘Settings’ > ‘OK’ > ‘System’ > ‘OK’ > ‘Power’ > ‘OK’ > ‘Standby LED’ > ‘OK’ > then, do disable the light select ‘OFF’ > then press ‘OK’ on the remote to confirm that you want the light off. This should get the light to stop blinking by powering it off entirely.

To check to see if any timers have been set, press the ‘Home’ button located on your remote control > scroll to ‘Settings’ > select ‘System’ > ‘Time’ > ‘Sleep Timer’ > and then check to see if any timers have been set to cause your TV to turn off automatically. If so, disable those timers.
