You can fix Sony TV slow WiFi/internet by increasing your internet signal. Increase your internet signal by moving the router closer to the TV or by purchasing a Wi-Fi extender to boost the internet signal. Contact your ISP to increase your internet speed to 15 Mbps.

If YouTube Keeps freezing or crashing on your Sony TV, it is likely that the application needs to be updated. To do this, press ‘Home’ on your remote > ‘Apps’ > ‘Google Play Store’ > ‘YouTube’ > then select the app to see if an update is available. If there is, follow the instructions to complete.
If you cannot sign in to YouTube on your Sony TV, be sure that you have the latest firmware installed on your TV. To do this, press the ‘Home’ button on your remote > ‘Settings’ > ‘Setup/Product Support’ > ‘Software Update’ > ‘Network’ > then select ‘OK’ to install any new firmware updates.
The red light on a Sony TV will blink when an internal hardware error is detected. The number of flashes indicates which component has failed. A green flashing light is normal during start-up or when the remote is being used. However, if there is no picture, there may be an issue with the backlight.

If your Sony TV keeps resetting the picture, you want to first make sure that the Auto Picture Mode is turned ‘Off.’ The steps to complete this can be found in the previous section “Sony TV Can’t Change Picture Mode/Keeps Changing Picture Mode.” This will keep any automatic resets in your picture from occurring and should stop the problem along with one other solution.
