You can get Paramount Plus on your Vizio Smart TV so long as you have the SmartCast 3.0 software installed. Once this is installed, search for the app within the app store, choose the option to download and install, enter your login information, then start streaming.
You can watch ESPN on your Vizio Smart TV, but it is a little more work than simply downloading an app. The ESPN App is not available yet through SmartCast. This means that to stream ESPN on your Vizio Smart TV, you need to use outside devices. You can use AirPlay or Google Cast if you do not want to deal with HDMI attachments. Otherwise, many devices are compatible with your Vizio Smart TV and can support the ESPN and ESPN Plus App.

If your Vizio TV has dark spots, it could be that an LED strip has gone out, that a display panel has been damaged, causing it to have difficulty retaining pixels, or it might be a problem that can be resolved by resetting the TV if dark spots randomly come and go.
If your Vizio TV menu keeps popping up, the most common cause is that either the menu button is stuck or another button on your remote is stuck. To see if this is the problem, remove the batteries from the remote and rapidly click the menu button as well as all other buttons on the remote.
If your Vizio TV has no signal when on the RGB input, this is because this input option is only to be used to connect through video signal with a computer. Therefore, if no computer is connected and you are trying to complete a different function on the input, no signal will be present.

If HBO Max won’t download to your Vizio TV, it could be that your network is encountering problems preventing it from completing. To stream HD videos, a minimum download speed of 5 Mbps is needed, otherwise, you will continue to encounter download errors.
If Netflix is not connecting on your Vizio TV, check to make sure that other devices are able to function on your network, that you are using the correct password for your specific network, or reset your router to get Netflix to connect to your Vizio TV.
If your Vizio TV will not play the Disney Plus app, it could be that your TV needs to be updated with the latest firmware. To do this, press the ‘Home’ button on your remote > ‘System’ > ‘Check for Updates’ > once the update appears, follow the on-screen instructions for installation.
A Vizio TV will not connect to the internet if your modem, router or Ethernet are not working, the settings are incompatible, password is incorrect, you are connecting to an unauthorised public network or the WiFi chip is broken. Also, if the signal is weak or disrupted, it will often disconnect.
To clear the Hulu cache on your Vizio TV, press the ‘Menu’ button on your remote > ‘System’ > ‘Reset and Admin’ > ‘Clear Memory’ > ‘Clear Memory/Factory Defaults’ > enter PIN (0000)’ > ‘OK.’ This will clear the cache of your entire TV, which may also cause other apps to work more smoothly.
To update the YouTube app on your Vizio TV, press the ‘Home’ button on your remote control, select ‘YouTube,’ press the yellow button on your remote, then select ‘Update.’ To reset the YouTube app on your Vizio TV, refer back to the previous section “Vizio TV Youtube App Black Screen.”
A Vizio TV’s input will not work if the TV and device settings are incompatible, or if the cable is loose or faulty. This may also trigger the ‘Auto Detect’ function and cause the input channel to change randomly. A malfunctioning remote may prevent you from changing the input channel at all.
A Vizio TV screen may go black due to features such as ‘Screen Mute’ or ‘Sleep Timer’. It may also be a result of a loose/faulty connection, power issues, software error/bug or broken hardware. Most issues can be fixed by updating or resetting the TV, securing all cable or changing the TV settings.
A Vizio TV will not display full screen if the aspect ratio does not match that of the TV. This can be changed in the TV settings, or may need to be changed in your device’s settings. A dim screen is caused by either a hardware failure or by picture settings that automatically adjust the display.
The Vizio Soundbar and TV will not work together if the cable is in the wrong port in either device. The recommended port is HDMI 1 (ARC) on the TV and HDMI OUT (ARC) on the Soundbar. You may also need to enable the ‘CEC’ and ‘ARC’ features, unplug other devices and change the Audio Output settings.
If your Vizio TV won’t restart, you may be able to fix the problem by simply power cycling the TV (see “Vizio TV Keeps Resetting”). If this doesn’t work, a factory reset may be needed. To do this press ‘Menu’ > ‘System’ > ‘Reset & Admin’ > ‘Reset TV to Factory Defaults’ > enter parental code > ‘OK.’
If your Vizio TV apps are not updating and you have completed a firmware update, you will need to remove and reinstall specific apps. To do this, press the ‘Home’ button on your remote > select the app > ‘Delete App’ > ‘OK’ then navigate back to the app store to find the application and reinstall.
If your Vizio TV won’t turn on after an update and there are no problems with the power source, there could be an issue with your remote control. Try replacing the batteries first, but if this does not work, turn your TV by using the button on the TV itself to see if power is restored.
If your Vizio TV remote sensor is not working, power cycling your TV may be helpful. To perform a power cycle, unplug the TV directly from the power outlet. You will then press and hold down the power button on the TV itself for a few seconds, wait one minute, then plug the TV back into the wall.
If your Vizio TV is not mirroring the screen from your Apple device, be sure that both devices are connected to the same network. To check the network on your Vizio TV, press ‘Menu’ > ‘Network’ > ‘Network Connection’ > ‘Wireless,’ which will then show which network you are connected to.
The Vizio TV will freeze or turn off due to firmware bugs, hardware malfunction, poor internet connection or system settings. To fix this, you can try restarting the TV or modem/router, restoring factory settings, updating the firmware, reinstalling apps or disabling Auto Power Off and CEC.
