If your Whirlpool dryer timer isn’t working, troubleshooting methods include checking for continuity within the timer, replacing the timer if continuity is not present, confirming that the knob is engaged with the shaft and secure with electrical tape. From here, you can cycle the dryer.

If the thermal fuse within a Whirlpool dryer is experiencing problems, some troubleshooting methods include checking for any lint build up within the lint screen or ventilation tube and cleaning both thoroughly, testing the thermal fuse for continuity, and replacing the thermal fuse.

If you want to know how to fix your Whirlpool Dryer making a loud banging noise, first, take the vent off of the dryer. Now, turn on the dryer. Check to see if the flow of air appears to be weak. This is an indication that there is a malfunction of the blower wheel.

To reset a Frigidaire dryer, first, see if the model you own hosts a reset button which can typically be found on the control panel of the dryer. If there is no reset button or you cannot locate the button, unplug the dryer from power and allow it to sit for 10 minutes to complete a manual reset.

To reset a GE dryer, many dryer models come equipped with a reset button that can be found on the control panel. Simply press and hold this button and a reset should occur. If you cannot find the button, consult your owner’s manual to find the exact location of the button if present on the appliance.

Flashing and blinking lights behind the washer control board are something that is often built into the design. They are internal lights that flash while the washer is operating. There is no reason to be concerned if it seems as if these internal lights are flashing unnecessarily.
