Some devices will send a signal in error, causing your TV to keep switching. The ability to turn the automatic HDMI switching has been coded in recent Samsung firmware, and you are able to activate it with your remote. Point your remote at your Samsung TV and input the code, which is: mute – 7 – 2 – 9 – exit. This should solve your problem.
If you have an LG Smart TV, it is completely capable of using a Bluetooth keyboard. To connect a Bluetooth keyboard to your LG TV, you will first need to get your keyboard into pairing mode by pressing and holding the Bluetooth 1 key on the keyboard for 5 seconds. You will know that your keyboard has entered pairing mode when the blue LED light flashed repeatedly in half-second bursts.
As a general rule you should restart both your Roku, and your wireless router. After that you should verify that your internet connection is working 100%. To do that you should contact your internet provider. If neither of these fix the issues there are a few more things to try.
As a general rule a flashing light on your Roku can be either green or white. If it’s a green light then your Roku remote is in pairing mode. And to pair it you’ll need to use the Roku app on your smartphone or use an old Roku remote to search for devices and connect them.
As a general rule, you’ll want to first restart your Samsung TV by turning it off, and unplugging it at the wall for 2 minutes. Then turn it back on again. If that doesn’t fix it then you’ll want to have a look at your speaker system to see that it’s all connected.

If your TCL TV Hulu app is not working, the same solutions apply for many of the other applications that may experience the same problem. To fix a Hulu app that is not working on your TCL TV, you may need to delete and reinstall the app while also resetting your Roku. To do this, reference back to “TCL TV Netflix Not Working” to find the steps to reinstall the application as well as reset your Roku.
LG TV screensavers protect your screen by activating when a static image is detected. On most models, the screensaver can only be disabled in the service menu. You also cannot customise the screensaver, but can manually turn the screen off or enter Gallery mode to display images instead.
There are a number of reasons why your LG TV may have poor internet connection via Ethernet cable. One common reason is an incompatible cable, which is one that has a bandwidth greater than 100Mbps. Other possible causes include a damaged cable, modem or router, interference or outdated firmware.
If the menu keeps popping up on your LG TV, it is most likely that the settings are set to ‘Store Mode’. It may also be the TV is set to ‘Home Auto Launch’ or that ‘Simplink’ is disabled. If the menu is not working at all, it may be a software or hardware malfunction.
The HDMI audio on your LG TV may not work because of issues with the HDMI cable, the HDMI port, or your device’s sound output settings. If none of the TV channels have sound, it is likely due to the TV’s sound or volume settings, firmware bugs or connection issues with an external speaker.
HDMI connections between an LG TV and a laptop will not work for a number of reasons. It could be issues with the cable or issues with the TV or laptop. Issues with the TV or laptop include incorrect display settings or incompatible hardware or software. This can cause no or very poor signal.
To forget the WiFi network on your TCL TV, first press the ‘Home’ button on your remote control. You will then select ‘Settings’ > ‘Network’ > find and select your WiFi network with the remote > scroll down and select ‘Forget Network’ > then select ‘OK’ with the remote. Once this is done, the network should be forgotten.
If your TCL TV light is blinking and it won’t turn off, use your remote to disable the light. To do this, press ‘Home’ on your remote control, ‘Settings’ > ‘OK’ > ‘System’ > ‘OK’ > ‘Power’ > ‘OK’ > ‘Standby LED’ > ‘OK’ > then, do disable the light select ‘OFF’ > then press ‘OK’ on the remote to confirm that you want the light off. This should get the light to stop blinking by powering it off entirely.
If your TCL TV won’t stay on, this problem could be caused by an internal timer that has been set within your TV. To check to see if any timers have been set, press the ‘Home’ button located on your remote control > scroll to ‘Settings’ > select ‘System’ > ‘Time’ > ‘Sleep Timer’ > and then check to see if any timers have been set to cause your TV to turn off automatically. If so, disable those timers.
Pairing a TCL TV to a remote can be done in one of three ways; manually entering a TCL TV code into the remote, allowing the remote to find the code through its own database and pair automatically, or by following on-screen prompts. This process varies with different brands.
The light on your Roku device will be flashing, not working or changing colour if there is a connection or power issue with the device. Connection issues involve problems with the HDMI cable, WiFi or remote pairing. Power issues arise when there is not enough power or the device is overheating.
If your iPhone will not disconnect from your Apple TV, you can try a quick fix that should be able to disconnect your iPhone from the TV. You will first turn off your iPhone and allow it to completely shut down. Once the screen is totally black, turn your phone back on and try again to ensure AirPlay to connect back to your TV. Once it has connected, turn your iPhone off again which should disconnect the device.
If you have a Sony TV that is an Android or Smart TV, you can use a Bluetooth or wireless keyboard. If you have an Android TV and are wanting to connect a Bluetooth or wireless keyboard, simply connect the USB device that was provided with your keyboard to the back of your TV in the USB port and turn on the device.
If your Sony TV remote won’t change the channels, first look at the most basic problem which might exist which is either dead batteries or poor strength. Make sure that your remote has good-quality alkaline batteries that are new. If this is not the problem, your remote may need to be reset.
Aslong as your Samsung TV is paired with Samsung SmartThings, any TV made after 2018 you will be able to change the channel with Alexa. If you have a Samsung TV that was made before 2018, not all of the features can be controlled using Alexa, and you won’t be able to change the channel with your voice.
To stop your Sony TV from turning on by itself, first be sure to check the ‘On Timer’ within your TV. To find this setting click ‘Home’ on your remote > ‘Settings’ > ‘Preferences’ > ‘Clock/Timers’ > ‘TImer Off.’ Also be sure to check that the power button on your remote is not stuck and that you have good quality batteries within the remote as well.
To connect a Sony Tv to the internet via WiFi, you simply need to set up the internet through the settings on your TV. To do this, press ‘Home’ on your remote > ‘Settings’ > ‘Network’ > ‘Network Setup’ > ‘Set Up Network/Wireless Setup’ > select the connection method which should be ‘WiFi’ > follow the on-screen instructions that will prompt you to connect your Sony TV to the WiFi available.
If your Sony TV keeps resetting the picture, you want to first make sure that the Auto Picture Mode is turned ‘Off.’ The steps to complete this can be found in the previous section “Sony TV Can’t Change Picture Mode/Keeps Changing Picture Mode.” This will keep any automatic resets in your picture from occurring and should stop the problem along with one other solution.
To adjust the sound on your Sony TV, press the ‘Home’ button on your remote > scroll to ‘Quick Settings’ > then select ‘Sound Mode.’ You can also try pressing ‘Home’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Sound’ > ‘Sound Mode.’ From there you can select your preferred sound mode by choosing either one that is more balanced (Standard), one that makes specific effects more powerful (Optimized), or one that amplifies mid and high tones (Amplify)
To use a Bluetooth keyboard with a Samsung TV make sure that your keyboard is discoverable, which can be found in the user’s manual. To pair the keyboard, hold down any button on the keyboard (besides Menu, Ctrl, Alt, or Pairing) for two seconds. Wait for 5 minutes as the pairing lights of the keyboard and your TV blink alternatively, but when they both blink twice, the device has been successfully paired.
To fix the web browser of your Samsung TV in more general ways, first, try to perform a reset of the Smart Hub which can be found under the section “Samsung TV Browser Keeps Crashing.” You should also be sure to check the connection of your internet which can also be found previously under the section “How to Connect to Web Browser on Samsung TV.”
If your Samsung TV Update Keeps failing you can either perform a factory reset (see “Samsung TV Update Error 800”) or it may be a problem with a corrupted file if you are using a USB. Simply redownload the file again and extract it to the USB once more. If the file was corrupted, this should resolve any issues that you are having with the update failing on your Samsung TV.
To eject the USB on a Samsung TV press ‘Source’ on your remote > select the USB device that you want to remove > select ‘Tools’ > select ‘Disconnect USB.’ Once you have confirmation that the correct USB has been disconnected, you can then safely remove the USB from your Samsung TV without having to worry about any data being corrupted or compromised.
If your Samsung TV is not spotting an audio file, first, download the Ideal MP4 to ‘Samsung TV Converter.’ Once downloaded click ‘Add File’ > select the MP4 H.264/AAC as your output format > click ‘Profile’ > ‘General Video’ > ‘Convert.’ This should immediately convert your audio file in a way that your Samsung TV will accept it and it will play.
To update your Samsung Smart Hub over the internet, navigate to ‘Settings’ > select ‘Support’ > select ‘Software Update’ > and then select ‘Update Now.’ You can also update them automatically while watching TV by going to ‘Settings’ > ‘Support’ > ‘Software Update’ > ‘Auto Update.’ The update will go through and will then be applied the next time you turn on your TV.
To manually change the input on your Samsung TV by finding the Control Stick that is located on the back of the TV, under the front panel in the middle, or under the front panel on the side. Once you are able to locate the panel, find the button that shows ‘Source’ or ‘Input’ and you should be able to manually change the input without any problem.
If your Samsung TV keeps scrolling through channels, first try resetting the remote by pressing and holding the power button for 90 seconds with the batteries removed. If this does not work, find the Keyboard on the side of the TV and unplug it after unplugging your TV. Then, turn the TV back on and see if this fixed your problem.
To get your Samsung TV to find channels after a channel scan has failed you need to disconnect anything that was previously connected to the HDMI IN port and connect the aerial directly into the TV rather than into something like a Talk Talk box or DVD player. After this, go to Settings > Broadcasting > Auto Tuning Settings > Auto Tuning and then allow the process to take place.
